How to personalize your calendar’s color scheme:

Open your calendar in Microsoft Word. Once you have it open, it will prompt you for the month you want to view and if you want it to be different, feel free to change the value and continue.

Now that the calendar is open and ready for editing, we can choose to change the calendar’s theme. You will see in the navigation bar in Word a menu item for Calendar and when you click it you will find the Theme option.

Personalization of your calendar
In the Calendar menu you can change the date, the theme, the colors, and the fonts.

So click Fonts and you will get a drop down of options that you can hover/move your mouse over and see how it changes the calendar’s look and feel. Here are some examples:

As we called out in the theme personalization, if you can’t see the full or enough of the calendar you might want to try zooming down using the slider in the MS Word footer:

Here are some other examples of the impact of changing the colors independent of the themes options:

As you click and select that color, you will see the updated version that you can then save, print, and share.
